About LizB&Che

Structured coordination.
Human purpose.

LizB&Che Properties is a UK housing coordination organisation supporting vulnerable households moving from temporary accommodation towards settled housing.

We work with councils, housing providers and referring organisations to coordinate applicant information, property opportunities and the steps involved in progressing a move.

Why we do it

A move is more than a change of address.

Settled housing can be a step towards stability. We help bring together the information, housing opportunities and practical actions needed to progress towards it.

PEOPLE

Households first

Individual circumstances shape the journey.

PROCESS

Working together

Clear responsibilities support the next step.

The work behind the move

Connecting the people behind each move.

Finding a potential home is one part of the process. Our team helps applicants prepare information, coordinates nominations with housing providers and keeps the relevant people involved as a referral progresses.

Who we work with

Different roles. A shared housing journey.

Our work brings together the referring organisation, the housing provider and the household. Each has a distinct part to play.

COUNCILS & REFERRERS

The referral route

Referring organisations provide the relevant housing information through the agreed route. Councils retain responsibility for their housing decisions.

The letting decision

Providers share housing opportunities, assess nominations and retain responsibility for their letting decisions.

APPLICANTS

Households explain their needs, provide the information required and tell the team when circumstances change.

Our approach

Practical. Collaborative.
Person focused.

We aim to make the next step easier to understand through clear communication, relevant information and coordination between the people involved. The approach depends on each household and housing opportunity.
